FERRARA DI MONTE BALDO
At 900 meters above sea level, set in the Alps atmosphere of Monte
Baldo, with quiet panoramic roads leading to mountain villages, the
places of pasture, lies Spiazzi, a natural balcony over the open valley
of the river Adige and Lake Garda, surrounded by small villages that
have retained their medieval flavour. From Spiazzi starts the road to
the famous shrine of Madonna della Corona, carved on the mountainside
and constant destination of pilgrimage.
ARENA DI VERONA
The amphitheatre called The Arena is Verona's most famous monument, which is always a must see for visitors who come here from all over the world. Approaching quietly and imagining it filled with crowds as in the times of ancient Romans is not difficult, just close your eyes or enter the intoxicating atmosphere the Opera’s evening can create.
